join us Wednesday for multiple events — our First-Act Script lab is 11am @ Tempest Studios, we have a screening of JESS PLUS ONE and HALMONI’S POT (GRANDMA’S POT) at 2pm @ Foster Auditorium in the Paterno Library (with filmmakers in attendance), and then our last screening of the day is IRENA’S VOW and SEVAP/MITZVAH at the State Theater @ 6:30 (with filmmakers in attendance). And then be sure to come to our afterparty at The Hyatt Lobby bar.


Thursday Night Afterparty

November 2nd, 9pm til whenever, Webster’s Bookstore Café, 133 E Beaver Ave, State College

join us Thursday for two screenings — watch BREAKING THE NEWS at 12pm at The State Theater with filmmaker In attendance and then come back to the The State Theatre at 6:30pm to help us kick off our Indigenous Peoples Heritage slate of film with FRYBREAD FACE & ME plus FATIH THE CONQUEROR with filmmaker in attendance. Afterwards, join us at Webster’s Bookstore Café for food, drinks and scintillating conversation and merriment.


Friday Night Reception at The Rowland

November 3rd, 7:30pm, The Rowland Theatre, 127 North Front Street, Philipsburg

We continue our celebration of Indigenous Peoples Heritage Friday night with a screening of FANCY DANCE and ROSALIE FISH + BE KIND, PLEASE at 6pm at The Rowland Theatre (with filmmakers in attendance), followed by a reception featuring food by Native American chef Freddie Bitsoie and Philipburg’s own Brown Dog Catering. Stay for the screening following the reception at 8pm of OUR SON and REUNION (with filmmakers in attendance).


Saturday Night Gogol Bordello Concert to Benefit Ukraine PLUS reception & Afterparty

November 4th, 9:30pm, The Rowland Theatre, 127 North Front Street, Philipsburg

Gogol Bordello’s Eugene Hütz will play a concert to benefit Ukraine following the screening of the documentary SCREAM OF MY BLOOD: A GOGOL BORDELLO STORY (8pm at the Rowland –with filmmakers in attendance).

We will have a Ukrainian food themed reception by Brown Dog Catering before the 8pm screening of the documentary SCREAM OF MY BLOOD: A GOGOL BORDELLO STORY, and continue the party at RJs Pub & Grill, 615 North 9th Street in Philipsburg.


Sunday Night Closing Night Reception at The State Theatre

November 5th, 5:30pm, The State Theatre, 130 W College Ave, State College

Celebrate our award honorees at our Closing Night Reception at 5:30pm in The Attic at the State Theatre featuring food by Native American chef Freddie Bitsoie and Brown Dog Catering.

Gerald. Abrams will be receiving the Centre Film Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award and Gary Farmer will be receiving the Chandler Living Legacy Award.

The award ceremony begins at 6:30 where we will also reveal all the jury awards.


Sunday Night Closing Night Afterparty

November 5th, at around 9pm, Kokoro, 404 E Calder Way, State College

Help us continue the celebration and close out the festival with our last afterparty at Kokoro in State College. Be there!
