 Is it time to host a walking tour of your town? Matt Maris is a public historian, educator, and founder of Local Historia. Learn to capture and share video content on a local historical tour Philipsburg. Students will be invited to help create, produce, and participate in the content.

Are you unsure on how to grab your audience’s attention with your poetry? You’re in luck! Tierra Williams, writer, performer, and poet has some tools that will make your performance spectacular! This one hour workshop will be a brief intro on how to make your poetry recitations and performances more dynamic, relatable and captivating. During this class we will work on posture, picking of pieces, performance, and perfecting those three. Participants are asked to bring at least two poems. One of the poems my be an original piece. This class will be very interactive so wear comfortable shoes.

Arno Michaelis was a leader of a worldwide racist skinhead group and a lead singer of the hate-metal band Centurion, which is still popular with hate groups today. Single parenthood, love for his daughter, and the forgiveness shown by people he once hated all helped to turn Arno’s life around, bringing him to embrace compassion and practice gratitude for all life. How do we process our anger and suffering? Hang out with Arno and talk about his “Life After Hate.”
