Running Home

Tony Ruiz, a son of a Puerto Rican immigrants who became one of the best runners in New York City high school history, loses his sense of purpose after the 1980 Olympic boycott. A long road to redemption culminates when Ruiz launches an effort to help his stricken relatives after Hurricane Maria by doing what he does best.

“Running Home” was selected by Puerto Rico’s largest film festival, the Rincon International Film Festival, and was picked up for distribution by the streaming service kweliTV. More than 100,000 people have now seen the film.
