About Our 2025 Poster

Together, we make the scene.

The Centre Film Festival 2025 poster brings our history and community into focus. The artwork highlights the historic Rowland Theatre in Philipsburg, PA — our inaugural venue — by reimagining a historical painting that was discovered on their wall. Featuring a female figure as a muse of the arts, the design reimagines her as a muse of film and incorporates additional details from the theatre itself, including its distinctive wallpaper and iconic shell motif.

Our designer and artist Anali Jaramillo helped bring this vision to life. The 2025 poster reminds us that art and film bring together varying perspectives and celebrates the power of community and cinema here in Pennsylvania.

Meet Analí Jaramillo

I am a self-taught illustrator with a background in graphic design. What prevails in my artistic production is the thematic search and the construction of a personal narrative, wherethe feminine experience of “being” intersects with the body, its gender expression, and the psychological repercussions—individual and collective—that this entails. For this year’s poster, we focused on reimagining a historical painting located in the Rowland Theatre, which features a female figure as a muse of the arts, while also embracing the art nouveau elements found in the same venue.
